Grant Management

INGEV supports entrepreneurs who want to start their first business and small and medium-sized enterprise owners who want to develop their businesses through start-up grants, accelerator grants and business development grants. Although the grant management process is shaped according to the needs of the programs carried out, it is managed within certain principles.

In order to manage the grants in the most effective way, the first step starts with selecting the best candidates by taking into account their individual capacity, business idea, sustainability of the business idea and motivation. For this reason, we evaluate our candidates with different measurements from the application stage to the training process and after the trainings:

  •  We make objective selections with systematic scoring tools.
  • We understand their motivation in depth through interviews and one-to-one presentations.
  • We measure their performance in the training process with objective tools and use them as an evaluation tool.
  • We complete the beneficiary selection process with impartial committees.

We attach importance to building the capacities of grant applicants in all grant programs. Although it varies according to the program content, we organize trainings on topics such as entrepreneurship, skills development in vocational, technical and communication fields, and digitalization in every program.

We provide one-to-one support to improve applicants’ knowledge and skills in determining product needs, making procurement planning, conducting market research, receiving and evaluating offers from companies in order to improve their business management skills during and after the business startup process.

The delivery of the grants varies according to the program content, such as direct cash support, equipment support, workplace setup support. In programs that provide equipment support, delivery minutes are kept with the signature of the parties during delivery. A contract is signed by agreeing that the equipment provided will not be sold and the company will not be closed down for one year, and regular field visits are made with/without notice in order to monitor the status of the workplace and to ensure compliance with the terms of the contract.
